*Every new adult, senior or family membership is subject to a one-time $30 Joiner Registration Fee. Those who allow their membership to lapse for more than 30 days may be subject to this re-registration fee. **City of Hornell, Hornell Association, Alstom, Hornell City Schools, NYSDOT, Walmart, Steuben Trust Co., and St. James Mercy Hospital employees receive a discount on membership rates. Annual Dues -- full payment by cash, check, money order or credit card. Renewal letters sent annually. Bank Draft -- a system of automatic monthly payments. The first month’s payment is made upon enrollment. Subsequent payments are drafted from your checking or savings account. Membership is continuous until cancelled in writing 30 days before next bank draft. Credit Card -- a system of automatic monthly payments. The first month’s payment is made upon enrollment. Subsequent payments are charged to your credit card. Membership is continuous until cancelled in writing 30 days before credit card charge. Payroll Deduction -- available to employees from St. James Hospital, Steuben Trust Company and The Hornell City School (HEA). Membership is continuous until cancelled in writing 30 days before next payroll deduction . Day Guest Membership
The general public may purchase a day membership which entitles them to use all of the Y's facilities (pool and gym as scheduled classes permit). Youth: $3, High School: $5, Adult: $8. Save your receipts! If you decide to join within 30 days, you may apply the paid guest fees to your membership balance. Members from other YMCA's pay one-half of our guest fee. At the Hornell YMCA, no one is ever denied membership or access to programs due to the inability to pay. The YMCA maintains a generous scholarship program for those in need of financial assistance. Confidential applications are available at the Front Desk. Locker Room Policy
Adult member locker rooms are available to adult members and youth members grade 9 and above. Program members, youth members grade 8 and below, general public and birthday parties must use the general/youth public locker rooms. Lockers are available free on a day use basis. If you would prefer to keep items here longer, locker rentals are available for $35.00/year. Please see the front desk. Insurance
