The Y operates a Before and After School Childcare Program at Wayland Elementary School and After School programs at the Hornell YMCA, Canisteo Elementary School, Arkport Central School, Alfred-Almond Central School, Whitesville Central School, and Bath VEW Primary School.

These are NYS-licensed programs developed by the Y to foster a child's personal, physical, and emotional growth. Our programs encourage children to build friendships with children from different areas and backgrounds, foster self-confidence and independence, and allow each child to learn the importance of caring and sharing with others. Children enjoy arts and crafts, gym activities, games, stories, and homework help. A nutritious snack is served daily in all programs. Children must be enrolled in Kindergarten through 12 years of age. 

Before School Program Hours:

- 7:00am until the start of the school day

After School Program Hours:

- School Dismissal until 6:00pm
